CCNP E-Learning (ELT) Demo
Check out our CCNP ELT Demo - with the introduction of the new CCNP curriculum, Cisco also introduced a new eLearning format called ELT. The main difference between traditional e-learning and ELT is that ELT includes hands-on experience by using a technique called a "directed demo". A directed demo walks the student through a certain configuration or troubleshooting scenario by showing the network diagram, the command line interface of all devices as well as all the configuration / troubleshooting steps that are required to complete the lab exercise.
Fast Lane is proud to offer a free demo of this eLearning format from the new CCNP TSHOOT course. Here you will see how this new format helps to reinforce the lecture content by actually showing you the specific commands required to complete the lesson tasks. You will be lead through a scenerio where the instructor explains the objectives of the lesson and then see the actual CLI commands and output of these configurations.
New and Redesigned Cisco CCNP Program
Fast Lane is pleased to offer the redesigned CCNP Curriculum announced on January 25, 2010. The new CCNP certification program now incorporates self-paced e-learning modules that augment a curriculum which focuses more on job tasks such as planning and troubleshooting.
Fast Lane is also offering new assessment tests that correspond with the new CCNP curriculum. The assessment tests are a great way to help you measure your technical proficiencies and select the appropriate course. You can locate these tests within the Learning Center on the Fast Lane Community Site.
The three new cohesive five-day courses include: Implementing Cisco Switched Networks (SWITCH), Implementing Cisco IP Routing (ROUTE), and Troubleshooting and Maintaining Cisco IP Networks (TSHOOT). Additionally, the new e-learning modules extend classroom materials with enhanced content that can be accessed by class participants at any time.
CCNP certification is a highly sought-after validation of an individual’s professional level technical skills and familiarity with Cisco routing and switching technologies. With a CCNP certification, a network professional has demonstrated the knowledge and skills required to manage the routers and switches that form the enterprise network core. CCNP certification adds value for the IT professional, especially in tough economic times, and can facilitate pay increases, job opportunities, and career advancement.
As a valued Cisco Learning Solutions Partner (CLSP) - the highest accreditation for Cisco Learning Partners - Fast Lane’s CCNP course offerings will utilize authorized Cisco training materials, so students can be assured that the curriculum is current and aligned with the latest Cisco exams, products, services and technologies.

Fast Lane Wireshark Course Releases
Fast Lane is proud to announce our new Wireshark course offerings
Wireshark (formerly called Ethereal ) is an open source software project, and is released under the GNU General Public License (GPL). You can freely use Wireshark on any number of computers without license keys or fees; all source code is freely available under the GPL. Because of this, it is very easy for people to add new protocols to Wireshark, either as plug-ins, or built into the source code.
For reasons mentioned above, the Wireshark Analyzer is one of the most widely used protocol analyzers, and is the de facto standard across many industries and educational institutions. By attending one or more of the Fast Lane developed courses below, participants will acquire knowledge and experience about detailed analysis and troubleshooting of typical network protocols and applications with specific focus on switched Ethernet, TCP/IP networks and TCP/IP based applications.

First CCIE Wireless Outside Cisco
Fast Lane Instructor Jerome Henry receives CCIE Wireless Certification - over 90 have tried to pass the CCIE Wireless Written and Lab exams since beta testing began at Cisco last month. So far, only three individuals have been awarded the highly sought certification. Two are team members of the CCIE Wireless design team. The third, and only certification awarded outside of Cisco's team, is Fast Lane Instructor Jerome Henry.
The Cisco CCIE Wireless certification validates that a professional has the expertise to design and manage wireless networks and to make mission-critical and business-critical wireless network decisions. It confirms that you have the job skills and technical knowledge required of an expert-level network IT practitioner.
Jerome has developed and is teaching the new CCIE Wireless Written Boot Camp and CCIE Wireless Lab Boot Camp. Jerome also developed the IUWVN and IUWMS courses in the new CCNP Wireless certification, as well as the IUWNE course for the CCNA Wireless certification.
Cisco UCS – Integrated Virtualization for the Data Center
Virtualization is changing the way business operates by converting IT resources into shared services that can be structured and re-structured to improve efficiencies and scaled quickly. It is no longer a question of whether virtualization is vital to business, but how to harness the power of this ever changing technology infrastructure.
