Cisco UCS – Integrated Virtualization for the Data Center PDF Print E-mail

Virtualization is changing the way business operates by converting IT resources into shared services that can be structured and re-structured to improve efficiencies and scaled quickly. It is no longer a question of whether virtualization is vital to business, but how to harness the power of this ever changing technology infrastructure. A well-designed data center will increase business agility, enhance efficiency and improve resilience.

In this webinar, Fast Lane Instructor Dave Chapman will explore the various components of Data Center virtualization and the operational efficiencies it provides. This includes reductions in power usage, cooling requirements, UPS capacity and leased space. Finally, he’ll show you the ‘next big thing’ with focus on building Data Centers around the Cisco Unified Computing System. The UCS allows businesses to unite network, computer, and virtualization resources into a single seamless system to reduce TCO and increase business agility.

Audiences will learn:

  • How to structure a virtualized data center without the Cisco UCS
  • How to structure a virtualized data center with the Cisco UCS
  • The benefits of each design based on business needs
